...and daily the shit out of?
This thought popped up when I saw a new Chevy Volt on the road. I was amazed that someone bought one! But then I wondered what I would convert. Then I limited my options to new and tried to think of model names.
Anywho, the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! came to mind and I would love to use that in the modern form. It would all blend together so well.
And because “Colt” is likely under the Dodge name still, I’d go with Stallion.
By the way, if VW makes an electric Beetle they HAVE to call it the “Lightning Bug”. I get royalties.

I’ll only play if you allow me to use a hydrogen fuel cell to produce my electricity and hydrogen available at gas stations.

So I can silently pass people on the shoulder in rush hour traffic.
Also Volts are very nice.

Technically speaking it’s both new and retro. And it’s already electrified too!

A small truck. Frontier, Tacoma, Colorado, etc. Perfect summertime light duty hauler (carrying gardening supplies, hauling a lawn mower, going to the drive-in movies, etc.) It obviously couldn’t do heavy duty truck stuff, but I think a small EV pickup would be really cool.
Fun fact: GM did make a few electric S10s in the ‘90s.

Ford made the Ranger in full electric as well...
I had to push one into a parking lot once and watch it burn....

I’ve been saying this for well over a year. I would LOVE a small truck to come back onto the market in full electric (hello, Ford? Yes. Ranger again, please.).
Instant torque, battery packs over the rear wheels for traction then a frunk so you don’t have to shove groceries behind the driver? I’m game.

A Lexus.
While electric is great for that immediate performance, I think it’s fantastic for its noise, or lack thereof. If I wanted a comfortable cruiser, an all-electric LS would be great; with a nice ride and very little noise, it would be a serene commuter car.
If I wanted to put it into a performance car, I think it’d be interesting to have an all-electric Kei car, like an electric Cappucino. The cars are really light to begin with, but the issue would be space for batteries (since there’s barely any space to begin with) as well as redeveloping suspension to deal with the added battery weight. If this was possible (and affordable) I'd daily it every day outside of winter.

I’m capable of reason on occasion; this is much more reasonable than my desire to put the LFA V10 in everything.
